Read "Crazy Rich Asians", "China Rich Firlgriend" and "Rick People Problems" by Kevin Kwan. According to the interview I heard on NPR, the crazy story events are mostly based on actual events. The books are pretty much all about culture clash. ...

I live about 2 blocks from one of the largest independent book stores in the US. In addition to all the newest reads they also have 5 floors of used books. In the evening I walk there and pull a book off the shelf and go back into the stacks to read....
