served in the RCAF at the Air Base in St. Hubert many decades ago.
is there still an Armed Forces base there? probably still have search & rescue there but maybe no fighter aircraft.

It's smaller than it used to be. Only choppers now. But it's still there. And the city of Saint-Hubert merged with the neighboring town of Longueuil in 2000, becomming a borough of it.

@QuidamOutrepont , had some good times while stationed there.
remember golfing at the GC in Chambly. we would go to the rec centre & for $1.25 we got a coupon to play 1 of the 2 courses. had to be a 14 handicap or lower to play the newer course.
i wonder if that GC is still there.
st.Hubert was a big base when i was there. I was a bartender in the jr ranks clubs. we had 3 different bars & lounges at that time.
