Happy Canada day to my neighboors!
In Quebec, that gives us a second long weekend in a row since we have the FΓͺte Nationale on the weekend before. But on the other hand, we don't have the civic holiday in early August.
Also in Quebec, there's a large number of families moving on the 1st of July.
@MsHoliday Many people move on July 1st in Quebec because many leases end and begin on that day, after the end of the school year and before people go on vacation. The cost of leasing a moving van on that day doubles or triples. It's one of the biggest days of the year for pizza deliveries. There's no official name for this day but some people call this ironically the Moving Day or the Moving Holliday.
Happy Canada Day everyone ,152 years,,the first 12 were not celebratedprovinces were fighting over the day so we actually have a 140 years worth of celebrations,,but just remeber the indenigious people are celebrating around 15000 years on there land here
