Pickering Nuclear Plant Emergency, just a false alarm, a tripped circuit breaker, a training exercise, a human error message. It would be helpful if the Ford Government wasn't so untrustworthy that the people of Ontario could believe even half of what they say. I woke up to an ice storm this morning, roads impassable and then I get an emergency alert from the government saying that there is an incident at the Pickering Nuclear Plant but don't worry unless you are within 10kms of the nuclear plant. Later I receive another emergency alert telling me to disregard the first alert because it was sent by human error.
This is not a government that inspires trust or confidence in the people of Ontario.

The ice storm you had at your place made it all the way to ours. The power went out in my neighborhood among many other places and it took eighteen hours to get it back.
In Quebec, we used to have one nuclear power plant and we shut it down. By the way, we have plenty of affordable hydroelectric power for our friendly neighbors if your Prime Minister changes his mind.
Our Provincial Premier barely has a brain so I don't know how he would change it.
@Surfpirate So is ours.
Life happens
Life happens but intelligent life not so much in Ontario lately.
@surfpirate ,you do have a point there.
I once saw a UFO near by the Pickering Nuclear Plant.
My sister and I saw one at the Scarborough Bluffs when we were kids.
@Surfpirate I saw it during the day.
@PatrickKerr I love it when people ask you how you know it was a UFO - Err well it flew around like nothing I can describe as possible with our current technology and then it just zipped up into space. I guess that's why UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object - it was and object, it was flying, I couldn't identify it as something from Earth.
