I am visiting Victoria for 3 weeks and we had snow out here last week,took ferry over to Van on Friday,resonable amount of snow there,came back to Victoria this afternoon at 9 degrees and snow all gone,Live in Trenton Ontario and we have been getting lots of snow wind and cold there over the last few days,,ave seen the pics of NL those poor people,hope they get all the help they need as they are so generous to everyone else

@ToolGuy Born at Toronto East General Hospital, my mother at Toronto General Hospital, my grandfather in the family home in Toronto, his parent before that and their parents before that; so please spare me the drama about Toronto sensibilities as my people built that town into a city. Yes we have had blizzards in Toronto before, yes even hurricanes have roared through Hogtown but don't start to think that makes it the center of the universe, only a newbie would believe that hogwash.

@ToolGuy your BIL had a stroke, sorry to hear it and I hope he survived it.
