Hey Mike! Does BR have any good atheist/humanist community events? Lake Charles is severely lacking.
@scarletwaters We have a small meet up group at the main library monthly, second Wednesdays at 7pm to 9. Called Baton Rouge Freethinkers. Ranges in attendance from 8 to 20 people. Sometimes with guest speakers, sometimes a planned discussion topic. I have been going since I moved here in 2017. Low key but nice for community.

@scarletwaters next meeting is around the corner, Wed. The 13th. Main branch library on Goodwood. Meetings are up on the second floor, in the back, in one of the three glass walled meeting rooms.
