I watched a youtube video called Caesar's Messiah and I was blown away. I was a Christian fundamentalist for 25 years and this film was stunning to me. I realize spiritually speaking they have power. Is it a deity that gives them that or the great numbers believing in the same thing? Im a heathen now and not huge into the spiritual side of it...yet but admire my ancestors so much. The Norse gods are so accessible to me. They betray they laugh they are disabled like I am.
I was immersed in the Bible for many years too so when I started to think about the origins of Christianity being fabricated for political reasons, I was intrigued but not completely convinced because of the sheer sophistication of the project.
When you consider the hard effort for over 1500 years to massage the bible to convince the maximum number of people through absorbing myths from other cultures ...
