@phxbillcee lol. Well, yeah. But there's something distinct about his style: he picks all the notes he plays. He doesn't do hammer-ons and pull-offs with his left hand. Listen again and you'll hear what Im talking about.
@Taijiguy Yeah, you can definitely hear it, Never saw these guys, but did catch Kansas back in the day. Now I have to remember who I saw with them. (I do remember it was 3 groups, but,...)
@phxbillcee they toured with Styx a lot. He's played with a few of those 70s bands, toured with deep purple for a while.
@Taijiguy I think one of the bands was It's a Beautiful Day if I remember correctly. I do remember loving "White Bird" & how it was totally butchered live. They cut their set short because of the booing!
