Huh! Same birthday as my dad, also named Bill and also wore bow ties, and if I remember correctly, both Boeing Engineers too! I never met him, but a friend of my mom's invited Bill Nye over for dinner in her newly refurbished bathtub, haha! Long time ago!

That debate occurred while I was visiting Seattle, so I got to watch the broadcast in a room with the Seattle Atheists Meetup group. Great example of how impossible it is to get one who professes literal belief in the bible to accept new information and adapt their thinking of the larger world accordingly.
