That's chilly for Florida, but not unheard of in the Panhandle.
I'm in Wisconsin, and the current temp is in the upper twenties currently. A "warm snap" from what we've been having. Winter arrived before Thanksgiving and it's been cold since.
I kinda hope it stays cold here until Spring. A lot can go wrong with this climate change and all.
If it stays cold til March, it'll be a great gardening season

Thankfully we have nothing that extreme here, but there are enough days when I don't leave the house.
Cold and snow don't bother me; it's fucking ice that totally paralyzes my life! Can't walk or drive anywhere for days.
I make sure I'm well "stashed" before any ice storm is due to hit

@MrLizard I was in Tampa in the winter of 76-77. The warm pavement melted the light snow immediately. But the bridges and overpasses, with cold air above & below froze the snowmelt immediately. The result was patches of ice (black ice?) on every bridge and overpass. And accidents everywhere as no one was thinking about or prepared for ice in Fla!
