Got these Loki and Thor helmets back in September. The artist was Allie Nickel. I thought an all black watercolor would be great for this piece and I really liked her watercolor work. [oxenbloodart].

She did. She had come up with a couple of different designs for the helmets and we went through a few iterations on the overall design. Some were more busy than this. In the end I liked the more simplistic design that let the helmets really be the focus of the piece.
Might be hard to tell from the photo but the lightning connects in the middle when I put my arms together. I thought that was a nice subtle way to tie them both together.
