Color fading.
I noticed that the colors on my youngest tattoo have faded somewhat. can I have that made fresh again? Also, my skin is not as smooth as it used to be, because of advancing age. What do you tattoo artists say aboput that? Give up on tattoos and enjoy what I have ? Also, as the sun gets more "dangerous" should I put more sunprotection on the tattooed areas? I burn and freckled very easily.

I've tattooed people in their 70s, while their skin is thinner and more delicate it can still be tattooed. Make sure you get an artist that isn't heavy handed and has lots of experience with older skin. If they have been tattooing less then 10 years beware, it takes a great many years to learn to tattoo correctly.

Yes it can be re-inked
Use shea butter or cocoa butter on your skin..
If you want to save the color on your tats always cover them with spf 50..

Colors fade, that’s why I went with all black ink on mine... as my tatt changes with my age I look at as one looks at a fine antique... I think it adds to why I have it, it represents my life... I won’t try and fix it, I’d rather embrace it. My life is not perfect but it’s mine.

Yes, you can absolutely have tattoos recolored and touched up.

Yes, you should always wear sunscreen. Not only because of the harmful rays but because the rays also pull color out of your tattoo...

I'm unsure about the wrinkling. ?

Thanks. I guess as long as I have tats n the smoother parts of my skin , it should not be so bad. And Tony will tell me if I am gettig too old. He is not scared of me!
