I read a lot of self-righteousness in that article. Who is the author to say what "is" and "is not" nudism? Or that people who spend time at the computer, likely due to rent economics but its really their business, are pitiful, and should keep their clothes on lest they be pitied by the author? The world has some more extroverted people and some more introverted people. Some can afford big private back yards and some can't. Classification serves nobody.

The existence of the word "nudist" is unfortunate. I really wish that the conversation was completely changed to its actual heart - religiously-imposed shame about sexuality and the sex parts. I'd claim the label a-shameist, but our language makes that problematic. Maybe "igshameist" would be better. I'm not any more ashamed of my penis than I am ashamed of my arm. I did not choose to have either and bear no responsibility for having them.

When being isolated why not be nude

Absolutely. Nudism IMO is realizing that clothes serve a purpose: warmth, shade, modest, establish a power dynamic, costume... When none of those reason apply, nude is the best outfit. Home is where those reason for clothes almost never exist - you control the temperature, you're alone or with family & friends, no need to make a statement or take control. Saves on laundry, too! Nudism doesn't need a social component - aka other people around.

I beleive it is ,when your nude your nude and you do it when you can ,where you can in surroundings that make you comfortable
