This video - culturally of high value, artistically avant garde, aesthetically first class - has just been banned from my fakebook timeline. what do YOU reckon? for me: i wished i could have participated.

My girlfriend and her husband participated in the one in Buenos Aires; they loved the experience. I wish I was there.

i bet they did. i would have insisted on being part of it, if it was in my homeland.

@walklightly But I live in USA

@DUCHESSA, yep, & i'm in australia.

@walklightly I loved visiting Sydney...Bondi and Avalon beaches, .the Circular Q (Sp?). Enjoying -again- the Southern Hemisphere sundowns and the gelid Pacific Ocean waters.

I ❤️Spencer Tunick. He is a true artist, in every sense of the word.

Can't say I'm surprised. Facebook is completely unable to distinguish between nudity and porn. I've reported porn before now (a video of a woman ejecting a golf ball from her vagina - hardly suitable on public show on a site where the minimum age is 13 years.) They thanked me for reporting nudity.

A friend just did 3 days in Facebook jail for posting a full frontal, unaroused picture of her husband to a private group, expressly for naturists. It's even called "Naturist and proud." Facebook couldn't care less about context, either.

Spencer Tunick is a smart cookie, isn't he? He doesn't create photographs, he creates 'art installations' and records them through the medium of photography. Tell local authorities that you're planning on doing an nude photoshoot in public, and they'll tell you to get lost. Tell them you want to create an art installation, using naked bodies as your medium, and they can't get enough of you.

the thing is, fakebook clearly states in their community standards/censorship guidelines, under part III for objectionable content under 14. adult nudity & sexual activity:" ... we also allow photographs of paintings, sculptures, and other art that depicts nude figures." well, what, if not an artwork is this living installation of nudes? anyway, hypocrisy as usual.
