Just got done playing F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin, and while it certainly wasn't as interesting as the original one was, it provided a satisfactory gaming experience. Interestingly enough, February 10th marked the 14th anniversary F.E.A.R. 2 was released in North America, and I had finished playing the game through the first time on February 10th. Had also already played the two expansion packs that went along with the first game, Extraction Point & Perseus Mandate, neither of which I'd recommend, and neither of those are considered canon to the F.E.A.R. franchise anyways.
Already started playing the third game in the series, but between the UI and the storyline so far, I might not continue playing that one, might not be worth my time, we'll see. Think I'll look into playing the expansion pack for the second game, Reborn, instead. The original game was awesome and the best in the franchise.
