I can't think of any new problems with redstone, except for commands/command blocks. Mumbo just did a video about wireless redstone using water/bubble columns. It seems pretty interesting.

@Aerihk things like piston and redstone update order. and some of the changes to observers. gnembon and ilmango go into detail about those changes. tbh it only changes timing on some contraptions. and yeah those bubble columns are alot of fun to mess with.

@nickrussell Huh, I don't really use a lot of redstone. I know Xisuma mentioned changes to observer updates (which I never use), but I thought that was in the context of fixing bugs during 1.13 development.

@Aerihk yes alot of changes where for bug fixing and tbh that was a good thing. but sadly most complex redstone devices will have to be reworked. to change the subject here is a fun pic. this is an old build but i want to make alot of this kind of nether air ships in a iceberg biome

I've been thinking of making an airship for some of the biome villages. Basically all of them have a travel center, with teleports to the other villages, so you'll teleport onto the boat or whatever there as if you sailed there. Most of them have boats, the underwater one has a submarine. Not sure what I'm going to do with the Nether and End cities, since they require going through a portal and don't have any other cities in the same dimension to physically travel to, like the overworld villages. I suppose I could make a giant Nether portal sized big enough that a ship or something could (hypothetically) travel through it to the overworld

@Aerihk idk what kind of game mode you are playing in. if you are using creative and cheats i would say make portal builds to house them... but if you are in survival then making nether paths from the overworld portals to a stronghold for the end or a nether fortress nether side.
