So here's my problem.

I am a bisexual man. I'm maybe 80/20 hetero/homo.

BUT...I LOOK like a "Man's Man" (pun intended), meaning, I'm rugged, deep voice, professional, business like, conservative looking (but I'm not), etc.

How do I get taken seriously by bi/gay men, and especially by the LGBTQ community?!?

Dunno.Joining this forum is a step, as well as those near where you live. There should be some Meet-ups in your area for the LGBTQ community, with a chance to find like-minded people and ask where they hang out.

A bi male friend in the UK was a cop, and worked in one of the roughest neighborhoods in one of the cities that has a reputation for being rough. As far as I know, he has never had a problem being taken seriously. Are you familiar with the butch/femme spectrum? There are gay and bi men who prefer "butch" men, such as you might be characterized.

Men--regardless of sexual orientation--come in all shapes and sizes. If you let go of stereotypes, live in a progressive, cosmopolitan area, and don't make a big deal about not being "taken seriously" by the queer community, you'll eventually find your people.
