I've probably mentioned this before but one of my closest friends is a total extrovert. If she's not going to a party, she's throwing one. She always invites me, and I never go. I asked her why she keeps inviting me and she said she hopes that one day I'll actually surprise her and show up. That's a friend!
I actually do like being invited... I just don't want to go.
