They look a litlle like one of our noxious weeds!

The are related to bindweed, but are a delicate variety. Much like wild rose and flora bunda are related.

@glennlab the flower also reminds me of a perennial in my front yard - I think it needs fertilizing the flowers look very pale this year. Usually a deeper lavender colour.

@glennlab the flowers are also somewhat shriveled through lack of water!

@glennlab I decided on returning from today's walk that the above photo had not done justice to the front yard's bush -

Gorgeous!! My favorite shade of blue.

Up until now they have been a pale blue and I was really discouraged, This morning with a cool front (65degrees) they are popping. I'm really glad i didn't rip them out last week.
