Mee too! Even now as an adult. Geeks, nerds and introverts are my favorite people! 🙂

I never get very far hiking because I'm always crawling around looking at everything on the ground. I don't understand people who say a hike was boring? They just didn't look and see.

Did he grow up to be more sociable??? lol

I had to work on it. But get me in a room of foresters, I go non-stop.

@ADKSparky Kind of like me with a number of issues.

Absolutely! Who needs playmates when you got the encyclopedia? I my case, I had sibs, and a imagination! We always lived so far away from other kids.

I'd read the encyclopedia in bed before I went to sleep. My bedroom was full of plants and I made a grow light stand for the seedlings. I was into other stuff like rockets. I was an all around geek--Still am.

@ADKSparky GOOD, is all I can say! I love that people are finding out that "Geeks" are super cool. About time. My BIL was drawing a diagram of some feature of the Hubble and how it works and my sister was allowed to take a picture of it, but not of his special chicken wing recipe just above it, lol. Priorities Sir!

That's how you separate the flotsam and jetsam from your life and prevent them from wasting your time.

Hey I'd have wanted to share books! That wasn't my focus but I was interested in everything.
I still am.
I was hatching catepillars and naming them... And returning them to nature. My poor parents. lol
