About 3 months ago I met a man in the park who introduced himself to me and gave me a JW pamphlet to read. Since then, he has given me more and more to read, and I've been reading it. However, I am honest with him. I tell him that I require good evidence if I am to believe what they teach. I have reviewed the "evidence" in their literature, and told my new friend why the evidence is weak, and why I need something more solid. It looks like he's beginning to get frustrated, but he hasn't ditched me yet. I recently gave him copies of reports I wrote 15-20 years ago, detailing why Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel were false prophets, and exposing some contradictions in the Bible. It will be interesting to see where this goes. I'll keep you all informed....

Update: More than a year later, I still have not heard from the JW's. My demand for evidence seems to have put them off my trail for good. 
@BestWithoutGods what a shame that he just gave up. Perhaps it was causing him too much cognitive dissonance.
I had sort of a similar experience. I was raised in the JWs but was having doubts so I asked a sister in the congregation to help me. She was trying her best (at my request) to convince me that god actually does exist. It started out friendly but eventually she got frustrated that nothing she tried was getting through to me. After a year of us studying together I still was no closer to being convinced...if anything I felt more assured that there was no god. She told me I was “spoiled” because I was “raised in the Truth” and didn’t know how good I had it. That was the last time we ever had a discussion about god.
