@AncientNight As the curent administration is (hopefully) nearing its end, I suspect homophobia will mostly go underground, like racism did... until Trump was elected.
However, there is also the possibility that because allowing one kind of socially acceptable bigotry keeps all forms of bigotry alive, if there is no more socially acceptable forms fo bigotry, we may finally manage to get past most of it and most of it may just fade away.... and bigotry will be limited to the fringe nut jobs.
