We must stay vocal, and vigilant. Carry mace or a legal pepper spray and be aware of surroundings or take some safety courses. I’m not trying to fix your concerns as much as being supportive. ??

I'm in the closet for the most part, but I do fear for my safety with the current president in office. Only the people on this site and one other know I'm in my own gender. It's a shame there is so many closed minded people in the world that we can't feel safe living in it.

I must be lucky because I've had no problems living as a trans woman here in Southport, UK. Nobody gives a s**t (I try not to use 'bad' language). I just live my life just like anyone else does. It does help that I have a lot of self confidence and quite a lot of 'front' if I ever need it (not needed it so far). However I do feel for those less fortunate than myself. Good luck to you all.
