I am a member of that group also, yes. I don't have a social life to speak of, if you don't count my coworkers. I'm not much of a people person IRL. More of a misanthrope.

I’m an introvert and INFJ, though I can ‘do’ social stuff the inanity and fake ness of most of it just drives me nuts. Small talk is torture!

I used to be an introvert until I started wearing dresses. Then I went through a phase of 'girl mode' being an extrovert and 'boy mode; still being a wallflower. Then her confidence kind of rubbed off on his. I'm perhaps not the most gregarious of people, but I'd no longer describe myself as an introvert. I very much would have before. I'd be the one at the party on my phone all night. In fact, back when mobile phones were still just phones, I used to have a separate PDA or bring a book or magazine to entertain me when forced into social situations by others, largely so I didn't have to interact with other people.

Sometimes I'll still switch off on a night out, and go into a zone where I'm content with my own company and happy to leave the rest of my social group to do their own thing. But it's rare, and most of my good friends understand and leave me alone when it happens.

I am an extrovert, personally, but I find myself in a minority among my LGBTQ+ peers. I believe there is a high correlation between introversion and LGBT folk.
