The image says more than the caption. Religion doesn't 'make' anybody do anything. It was created by people with poisonous fears and muderous tendencies and so attracts all of those same types of people; those who are seeking justification for being terrible human beings - even if only partially - while at the enjoying an illusion of righteousness for their misdeeds. A lot of religionists can clearly see how they treat other people is deplorable, but they habitually pass the blame onto their perpetual immaturity/laziness/delusion/diety.
Very good illustration. There is a difference between religion and God. I gave up the religion I was raised in for its judgmental hate and it's hypocrisy. I gave up God a little later (college age) when I realized the factual claims just didn't add up, but also, only after I was able to let go of the fear of punishment (lest I be wrong about the facts) that religion had drilled into me.
I have to admit, I carry a bit of a chip on my shoulder toward religion, especially for all the shit-load of shame it heaped on me for being gay. But God? ...not so much. I can't resent something that isn't there.
