Welcome! And living in Baton Rouge, I sympathize with the gay dating challenge. I don't do bars or church (obviously). I finally turned to online dating, and even that took eight patience-testing months for something good to come along. No guarantees. Hang in there.

Yeah I feel ya. I have been doing the online dating thing since about 2001. Nothing yet. Also hit the bars and clubs... nothing. No matter where I wind up there seems to be nothing for me.
@Ceaselessmind don't give up, and Don't all your hopes for happiness on finding a life partner. I have met many coupled people whose biggest stressor is relationship related. Hey, even casual fuckbuddy status can be worthwhile
@MikeInBatonRouge again thanks but fuckbuddy is nonexistent here. Had one and he got married. I am physically unattractive to most folks. So that stops a lot of fun before it starts.
