I can't fault the words but it feels rather scripted, guess I can't fault that either, every time you get assaulted (luckily for me it hasn't been physical yet) you think of the words you wish you could say and wish you could both communicate how it feels and just be left alone, it's not just a US problem, I often say that when I chose to be me (I hate to say came out because it was a very real personal experience and connection from somewhere deep inside me to my feelings from childhood and a realisation of who and what I am) I knew I was painting a bullseye on my face, and the way that people will hate you for just wanting to exist peacefully can lead to fear of just leaving the house (for at least a month last year I would venture no further than my local supermarket which is about 500 yards away), but I guess hate just looks in the mirror and see's hate and projects hate onto everything that it comes across for some kind of relief, it's sick but it's real and it happens and fixing that is one of the few things I can't think of an answer for.
