(Sigh) ...more bumpersticker time, "Religion stops a thinking mind." I am reminded of my childhood in the 70s, when my "dear" mother would force-feed us readings from Pat Robertson and James Dobson at the dinner table. Oh yes she did! Their books were right up there with the actual Bible, naturally! Mom later voted for ol' Pat for president in the Republican '88 primary. You realize, he won my home state of Washington....thankfully just the Republican primary. As progressive as my home state is, THAT was the level of wackadoodle evangelical insanity undercurrent.

I still marvel that I managed to escape that insanity.

Pat Robertson is about as smart as a paper bag full of wet hammers... nothing he says is worth listening to. For those type of people "weird sex" is anything other than missionary position. Gay really has little to nothing to do with it... but they wouldn't know that.
