yes - and no...once a bee has landed on you it's ready to sacrifice it's life to put it's stinger in to your skin....

i found this; Bees will rarely sting you unless you provoke their hive or if you accidentally squish or step on one.

It can be annoying when a bee is flying around your head, but it is likely just checking out your cologne or perfume, or maybe it was attracted to a brightly colored shirt and it thinks you are a flower.

Once it finds out you are not food, it will likely fly away.

In August/September a rather large wasp species is quite common here. While not very aggressive, they are attracted to bright yellow colors, so when we wore our dress uniforms, the stripes often drew an unwanted audience lol

Maintained my military discipline but does that qualify as a flower?
