Mentally ill people should not be murdered in response to murder, by any government. A life time of incarceration protects society, costs less than the multitude of appeals, and is punishment enough. If the brain is not equipped to self regulate, then it is defective & we should not be killing those that are such. By government sanctioned murder with injections, does not even provide for organ harvesting. Decapitation is the most effective method but too messy so....Nope. Can't support vengeance or the old testament.

I don't believe in the death penalty. To kill a person to prove killing is wrong, is hypocrisy. It cost more money to execute a death penalty than give him a life sentence in prison. And make him work off every ounce of freedom he could possibly get ,to pay back to society.
