New to the group. Going through a breakup with a native alabamian who was raised baptist. Wonder what, if any, contributuon the differenfe of religion had in the split?

I had my heart broken a little over a year ago from a man that swore our differences in religious beliefs (or lack of, on my part) was not a problem with him. He really had me going for a while, I thought we were made for each other. Then he started posting more and more bible verses and pastor’s quotes and shit...and stopped answering my messages and seeing me. He refused to admit he was acting any different and let it go on like that for four months before finally ending it. He never said it was because of religion. But I KNOW fo’ a FACK it was.
