at the beginning of Barack Obama's administration in 2009-2010 there was this kind of exagerated critic of his administration. one lady said he was worthless because he had not stepped forward on the gay issue. the trick is to elect good, progressive people and allow them the space to grow in office. i don't disagree with you that the police and their bullshit white racist attitudes are the problem we are dealing with. money needs to go to housing and activities for kids and good schools. that what Lori is trying to steer things towards. the schools got a bad start because the teachers union pulled a stupid strike that hurt the kids and hurt Lori's administration early. she is a sharp lady and we are lucky to have her as our leader in these tough times. she steered us well through the covid mess (still is) and she will address the cop thing too. where in Indiana do you live? i lived in Munster and Whiting for years. good years!!

give Ms Lightfoot some time; this is a huge problem that she is dealing with. unfortunately the teacher's union sabotaged her last fall going on strike even though she made them a generous offer. then tRump's silliness weights on her the Covid ( along with the Governor) in spite of complaints. i believe we need to give her some rope and time because she is a sharp lady who is doing her best to solve a tough situation.
