LINK Since 2020, there have been about 500 shootings at major supermarket chains in America, study finds

This is from June. It got overlooked by me due to vast amount of shooting data I get on a daily basis.

I actually was shocked by this. These are so unreported. They aren't tracked as "supermarket" or *grocery store" or any other identifying label.

Apparently, they should be. ๐Ÿ˜’

Oh my goodness! Makes me not want to go grocery shopping anymore!

I am usually in and out very quickly because I basically shop around the perimeter of the store. I only buy fruits and vegetables and a little fish now and then. So that is helpful to not be in the store for a very long period of time.

@SeaGreenEyez I tried that one time filling out the form online and telling them what I wanted as far as produce and fish. Whoever picked out my produce picked out everything that was as old as can be and shriveled up, and the fish was not fresh. Iโ€™ve never tried again. I know I am not giving them a fair chance one time does not mean it will always be that way. Iโ€™m just to picky about my fresh veggies and fruit since I am vegetarian. ๐Ÿ˜˜

@SeaGreenEyez I may ask about that at the store here that I like to shop at. That may be a solution for me. Thanks for that info.

I only eat fish once a week, the rest of the time I do impossible meat when I have a meal with the family. Like the other night, they made tacos and I made my own taco meat with the impossible meat. I then make it like a taco salad, only donโ€™t use tortillas. I stay away from processed foods too. I wonder if the animals that you are getting your meat from are getting too many hormones to try and keep them healthy, and its affecting the taste?

@SeaGreenEyez If I may offer a suggestion, you may have already tried this, but have you ever listened to guided meditation for anxiety?

My husband had severe anxiety and the VA had him on so many drugs when I met him that he was basically just zoned out a lot of the time. I intervened and got him off of four of the drugs they had him on and he actually started enjoying life because he was present, ie. could function without falling asleep. We used guided meditation CDs and now they have them on YouTube. I use them myself quite often to help with stress. ๐Ÿ˜˜

@SeaGreenEyez Well Iโ€™m glad you have found things that work for you. ๐Ÿ˜ Thatโ€™s the important thing! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I donโ€™t know anything really about yoga. I will look up power yoga. .
