Yet another disgusting fact about America.
11 murder-suicides each week and that number is steadily increasing.
Only one in ten murder-suicides is committed by means other than a gun or guns.
Sad fact despite what some, here who think knives are as bad as guns, would have us believe.
@SeaGreenEyez , ppl are always going to kill themselves; so would you like to deprive them of one of the easiest exits?
maybe you can't imagine yourself with a painful terminal cancer. but many ppl end up in that situation. they are then faced with hanging on till the bitter end with all the incredible medical expenses that drive many into bankruptcy, which results in the depletion of their estates or taking what many. except religious nutcases, consider a humane, sensible exit from their veil of tears.
@callmedubious Yet another excuse for more guns on the street. It's not about oneself but others.
@callmedubious, @SeaGreenEyez Just read this morning that VISA is putting gun sales in its own category. Everything else has a category why not guns? Of course the gun whackos are infuriated.
@SeaGreenEyez I think people are really getting sick of the toxic corporations and rules seem to be changing toward sanity. I also read that despite more guns being sold than there are people in the U.S. only about 1/3 of people, int the country, actually own a gun.
I think it shows more the state of our Society in many ways does not it
I think the two go together, the commonplace of guns & the "State of Our Society"...
