Nothing is EVER going to change and the loss of life shall continue.
(And NO! For the apologists. I am not anti-gun. I'm anti-insanity-gun-ownership.)
There was a movie years ago, about a group of friends who periodically went out into the woods playing militias. One day, at the edge of a river they saw a group of armed men exactly the same as them on the other side. They stared belligerently at each other in a mexican standoff, before going home. There was discussion among the friends at home, involving some chest beating and BS, and they met a few more times until one of the times, someone fired off a shot across the river and a firefight erupted and people were killed.
This is such an apt analogy of the United States of America - they have the toys, they practice and practice with them, and inevitably, they want to use them.
And it is happening already - witness the country's acceptance of the murder of school children, (and the ensuing inhuman disgrace that is Alex Jones et al. [what's worse is that the American system allowed Jones to get away with it for so long.], ).
And the ignominy of the Kyle Rittenhouse murders being whitewashed away shows a country which has utterly lost its moral compass.
Aspects of Islam call the USA "the Great Satan"
and that is what you have now become . . .
{ps: anyone remember the name of this movie?}
Maybe if a few of the judges get shot things might change.
