Just a quick note to say "hello" to this group. I recently joined this site and now am working on joining and contributing to several of the awesome groups here. I know the March for Our Lives is old news, but my sister and I made the drive to DC to participate with a great friend and his family. We made signs, this is one of mine still resonates, punctuated by the fact that my friend's 12-year old daughter displayed it. I wonder now, months later, what we can do - aside from voting - that will move things along?
Welcome and I love the poster. I attended in Philadelphia with my grandson and his family. In talking with gun enthusiasts it is unbelievable to me that they honestly believe that if any laws get passed it will mean that all of their weapons will be confiscated. I don't even argue any of the points with them anymore. I hear the NRA is saying that it is almost broke - yeah, like I believe that for even a minute - unless they passed on way too much of their cash to our Congress. I'm waiting for November elections and see what happens and if there is a blue wave it will be interesting to see how much, if any, gun measures get passed.
