Probably, the no. 1 item thieves are looking for are guns. Of course the NRA would deny this common-sense fact but this article shows it could be very true.

@SeaGreenEyez Given the recent shooting by a 4 year old to his mother I wouldn'l call that careless, I would call that just plane stupidity.
Of course this happens. I'm surprised at those who believe all the guns used in bad ways actually come from legalized gun shops. Some people believe that.

@SeaGreenEyez Legal yes, but not purchased for the purpose of doing the shootings. I do agree that we should vet the gun buying process a bit more closely.
@SwampBatman A vehicle is not a gun. It's hard to do a gun vs. vehicle death comparison without looking ignorant. Maybe you think we should vet the vehicle buying process more closely. Don't let the mentally deranged buy a vehicle or maybe make them wait 3 days or more before they pick it up.
