The House on Wednesday passed a bill expanding federal background checks for gun purchases and transfers, the first major new firearm restrictions to advance in a generation. Keep your fingers crossed it can make it through the senate.

Unfortunately, several senators said they wouldn't support it. Remember, this is where many Republicans get money for their re-election campaigns.

Some people respect the 2nd amendment unlike most of the people in this gun control group who do not.
It does seem to have bi-partisan support...
