ATF agents hunting down illegal machine gun device
[cnn.com]
3800 transactions, averaging how many per transaction, because how many will be sold from there?
Maybe over reaction ever try controlling a machine pistol hard even when you know what your doing going after ar-15 parts makes more sense that is not as difficult to control
Whatever the intentions or purpose for buying one of these kits, I doubt that it has anything to do with control.
@chalupacabre yeah but they are probably too stupid to realize that
@bobwjr seen the video clip of the kid on a shooting range who killed the range master with an uzi. Until something similar happens with one of these adapter kits, the people will be at least as dangerous.
@chalupacabre yeah stupidity is dangerous
" the devices don't have serial numbers on them and are impossible to track if not recovered in the possession"....so we can forget about stopping them. They're here...they're in terrorists' hands. Don't be too public to celebrate Trump's defeat...you'll be a victim....
So we should all be afraid to stand up for what we believe. This country was settled on people willing to make real sacrifices and face enormous odds. Now we (some) have become a bunch of lilly livered, couch potatoes. Just another reason we need serious gun regulations.
@JackPedigo C'mon, Jack.
I'm not saying hide and avoid all protest.
But....
There's a difference between Lilly-livered and dead livered...
With the rise in violent nationalism, it's wise to watch your back...
And of course I agree with you on gun regulations.
Did you read the OP?
It sounds like you didn't.
3000 machine gun adaptations brought in to the country - only a few traced - those arrested plead not guilty (and they're technically not )....and there's no serial #'s so they're not traceable.
@Robecology I did and even read it a 2nd time. It said this is a high priority for ATF and there were suggestions they are making headway.
I agree people should be more cautious but they also need to support more gun control laws and politicians. In my state (at least the civilized western part) this is a big priority. Where I live people are concerned and high powered rifles are not even allowed for hunting. I have a sign clearly posted on my driveway that this is a gun free property and NRA cowards not welcome. I have gotten nothing but kudos for the sign. I also speak out and donate to several gun control groups.
