A disappointing reality. This is bad news times 2.
1.) Illinois could not get the new fingerprint law through both houses:

2.) Even had that Bill passed both houses, this lawsuit worked it's way quietly through the system, eventually derailing even the original lessor safe/sane existing law, FOID (Firearm Owner's Identification Card Act) unconstitutional. So now, Illinois doesn't even have what they started with.
