My kid told me there was a minor panic at band camp yesterday because the metronome over the loudspeaker sounded like gunfire.

Sadly many Americans have come to believe that the 2nd Amendment gives them the right to have any weapon that the government has and that it was put in our Constitution to give the citizens a chance in case the government decided to "take us over." Does that even make any sense?
I get your point. However I don't know anyone that has a m240, m139, or m1.
This is the latest video on the gun situation by Trevor Noah...in response to a hero of mine, Neil deGrasse Tyson.
I was sad when I saw that on Twitter. I agree somewhat with the tweet but it was insensitive and hurts his reputation more..
Like Trevor said we are trying to do things about those other deaths. Also those other things like cars and planes that kill people have legitamite use and are not specifically made to kill people. Getting rid of cars and doctors would do more than prevent the accidental deaths.
I am disgusted by the politicized mass shooting porn we all engage in every time. It makes me mad that we don't care all that much about all the homicides and domestic abuse shootings that could be greatly reduced by regulations. Also the freeflow of illegal weapons going down into Mexico and Central America that arm the cartels and human trafficers. Those are in reality much bigger problems but don't get the attention as the mass shootings. Shutting the private sale and gun show loopholes are arguably more important than banning certain types of weapons one by one to act like something was done.
We are going to be faced with a whole generation of PTSD victims beyond our military people who return from a war zone. What is our problem in this country? My understanding is that only 40% of our citizens own guns (legally that is) and how do those 40% keep us in bondage?
Posted by DruviusMake it make sense.
