I got sick yesterday, so I stayed home and watched the march on Washington. It made me cry and then my headache got real bad, but worth it. Amazing. Then I was thinking, how gun rights people say we are just going on emotions. I think they can't see common sense because they deny their emotions, and then their emotions control their thoughts. In therapy their is a theory about "wise mind". It takes into consideration both ones "rational mind" and "emotional mind", because we are not robots. If we don't acknowledge our emotions they will control us. Seen many a tough guy come in and tell me counseling is bullshit. Then when their partner finally leaves them they break down and can't deal with it, or they are highly ineffectual and destructive in the family. Anyway, if that makes sense.
I have cried with joy and sadness and pride all day as I have watched these clips. I was there in spirit, but as I age, I have found that it's time to pass this torch and share my knowledge.
My best is functioning operation in these things at this time in my life is now behind the computer sharing coverage with the world.
I'm so proud of these kids.
Me too
