So I just saw the evening national news which said that in the last week there were 54 gun deaths in Chicago. 54 in a week! Had this all happened at 1 event it would have been considered a mass shooting. And if terrorists had done it, look out. But otherwise, it was just another evening story.
That's what happens when there is strict gun control. Criminals know others aren't armed so they run amok... Shooting, robbing, breaking and entering and raping.
Fake news! That is a lie told by Trump and the NRA. If strict gun laws are the problem, how do explain New York City's strict laws and how the violence statistics have fallen in that city? Where is your evidence to back up your claim? Here are just a few of the articles I quickly found to counter your argument:

@ArtemisDivine I will take my sources over yours any day of the week.
As morbid as this sounds, I wish all gun murdered victims could be collected in a hockey arena for a year. Maybe it would bring some visual reality to the daily horror that gun violence reaps upon victims and their families every day. Visitors could bring all their guns and those who are so moved could drop their weapons in a recycle bin on the way out.
