For the gun regulations group. 5 types of gun laws that the founding fathers loved
I am the volunteer coordinator and main volunteer for the BLM/San Juan Islands National Monument. The manager, Marcia shared this with me. The BLM subscribes to the “ Country News” which is all about land preservation and is actually very progressive. This came in the March issue along with an article describing how a border wall will break up a connected community.

The founding fathers knew muzzle loaded weapons. That was all the knowledge available when the 2nd amendment was conceived. The invention of the pre-loaded cartridge marked the end of rational interpretation of the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment should have referred only to muzzle loaders.
Who would to argue about this theory?
Many may, & I welcome the arguments. The worshippers of the 2nd Amendment (& I doubt they are familiar with any of the others!) have to remember that it is itself an "amendment"! The possibility of change & adaption was built into the Constitution! Modern situations demand a modern outlook!
@phxbillcee @tfg1929 First off to change the Constitution is long and complicated, There have been no changes to the 2nd and what we have is only interpretations. Unfortunately, the gun industry has money and clout. Even the recent Supreme Court ruling left room for regulations. It's about business and money for the gun industry, plain and simple.
