The Bernie Sanders Facebook shared this article. I feel like the number of people they contacted is on the low side, but it's interesting nonetheless.
Just shows more than ever that we have to get out & vote!
Please no burnie sanders again, too damn old... do you know he took nra money?
The NRA doesn't seem to like him much. Not sure what his age or donations have to do with the article either...
What does age have to do with politics or even holding office? Shouldn't it be all about policy? I think comments I hear that Bernie is too old are just ageist and discriminatory.
I think you're confused about Bernie accepting NRA . He said he never took special interest . Maybe you're thinking about him voting for a bill that was considered pro-gun? He voted that way because of other considerations in the bill (a "sweetener). This issue was blasted out in the media to sabotage his progressive campaign.
@dare2dream there are always other considerations for the apologist and I wouldn't want him on as a partner on a relay race either. Fit to serve is a must for any elected office as far I am concerned and he is Way Passed His Prime to be president. And if you stayed home because he was not in thw ticket.... How you like trump now?
I think there have been many studies done that are close to these percentage points. And I agree with you that the contact level is low for gun owners. Also I would be curious to know if gun owners across the country were contacted or if this percentage is from a much smaller geographical area. I think that would make a huge difference.
