Great article from the Smithsonian reveals what gun control looked like in the old West. We should all try to get our gun toting "cowboy" friends to read this!
",,,when you came into town, you had to either check your guns if you were a visitor or keep your guns at home if you were a resident.”
I'm sure this won't matter to the ammosexuals because they will say how much more necessary "protection" is. And then you have the NRA handing out $$$$ to line the pockets of congress. Nothing will ever convince the gun crazies.
That's why there called ammosexuals. Guns and killing are a part of their social identity. It's frightening to gain a understanding that they are itching to kill people for unreasonable reasons. What they may truly support may not be the Second Amendment and guns ,but just may be vigilantism .
Remove the fucking guns of civilian population and stop reading about the pimp and criminal wyatt earp, that was a shoot out between two criminal factions for the control of a town. No different than st valentine day massacre or crips and bloods gangwarfare of yesteryear. This is a different nation with different population in a different era of mankind. Stop looking at the past when the problem is Right on your Face.
I have seen this and heard of it several times. Imagine how things were in this country even decades before the 'Wild West'. Again, the gun people, industry and it's lackey NRA haven't a leg to stand on. It is only about spin and money.
