Most of the law enforcement people I know are very respectful upstanding individuals and only use force when it’s absolutly necessary like when trying to stop hardened criminals.

Ppl i know have not had any issues because they do as they are asked and do not resist. the ppl that resist and keep on resisting are usually the ones that have problems. law enforcement is there for a reason. that reason is to keep the peace in the community. when one steps out of those bounds it is then issues arise.

That’s been my experience as well.

You always hear the lame excuse about a few bad apples ruining the show for the rest. \the truth is the opposite. The bad apples rot the rest and there are no few bad apples, we have a huge number of bad apples running loose and unchecked. Can't believe that a killer cop gets put on "paid" leave. That is giving the the wrong message. If you mess up in your job you can get reprimanded or suspended without pay. Not the cops. They murder someone and get paid leave. See how easy it is to kill and get away with it. The DAs do not even press charges and they go scot free to keep on killing and abusing people.

I'd like to believe the same thing and I'm not saying they aren't mostly doing the right thing. It's just there are too many that treat people like shit and are way to violent.
