Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I work as a sorter in a recycling plant. I know that recycling is basically a good thing, but it's far from being perfect. Let's say it's a business where environmental good intentions goes in face-to-face collision with the brutal reality of globalized capitalism. Sure, it's better to recycle than to trash. But remember the three Rs. You see that recycling is not plan A, it's not even plan B, it's more like plan C. It's important to Reduce first, to Re-use second, only after that you Recycle.
I may spend hours sorting plastic bottles, but I always have my own reusable water bottle by my side.
