One thing I remember from college, if Einsteins's name was on the equation, it was going to be a long day.

On a serious note, the organizational psychologist who wrote the article, I guess he may have good intentions but his case on Einstein is misleading, to say the least. What students must understand is that when the teacher sucks (some will and that is a given) then the student must explore any tool at his disposal ( books, internet ) to research and teach himself because that's how real life works !!!!

@Mortal Teachers, we get to learn different aspects of knowledge from all of them. Some really good will teach us how to learn, others even better will teach us how to love what we learn. The not so good ones will teach us that at times we must learn ourselves. This is the point this article from the newspaper is missing. Thanks for your comments, been there done that. Lot of stories and memories !!
