Here's one I'm working on right now.
Had a couple of setbacks, with too many other things going on to finish it yet.
I'll post a video of it running when I get it done. Should be impressive.
Yes, I know the toroid is wonky. I'll smooth it out before it's done.
Amazing!!
@jenandjuice1111 thanks!
Yes, voltages are dangerous BUT amperages are true killers, any amperage above approx, 1.6 amps is extremely harmful and may be fatal.
You're correct in concept, but your quantity is wrong. The amount of amperage to stop a human heart can be measured in milliamps.
@Triphid of course the resistance of the human body is so high that in order to get milliamps across the heart you would have to have ,oh, I don't know, I can't calculate it off the top of my head because i don't remember what the human body resistance is, i think its in the mega ohm range, not sure how many though, and a lot of it has to do with how it hits you.
I've been hit with 120 volts a lot with no problem. I've been hit with as high as 15000 volts from a neon sign transformer more than once.
And once I almost killed myself when I thought I had a completely discharged high-voltage capacitor and it wasn't.
Tesla coil are cool
Agree!
@jenandjuice1111 had a vandegraff generator as a kid also cool
Posted by racocn8I saw some articles on meteorite composition and ended up with this picture.
